The latest-generation Aston Martin Vantage gets some hate for its grille and overall front end design, but I think it looks great, especially on the Vantage GT3 racecar.

It’s just so menacing. Its headlights, pronounced nose, and sharp lines make it appear like a shark that’s on the prowl looking for its next meal. Throw in its wide wheel arches, wing, carbon fiber details, and massive racing slicks, and it’s a beautifully executed package.

This example was campaigned by Heart of Racing at the 2021 Long Beach Grand Prix‘s IMSA race in the GTD class, up against the likes of Turner Motorsports’ BMW M6, Vasser Sullivan’s two Lexus RC Fs, a whole bunch of 911s, a handful of AMG GT Rs (which actually share the same twin-turbo V8 as the Aston), and even a few high-strung Lambos. The livery looks great on the Aston’s quintessential sports car shape, whether standing still or racing on the track.
