Galpin Motors, one of SoCal’s biggest car dealer networks, has a Porsche store in Santa Clarita with a little extra enticement. The dealership actually has a whole mini Porsche museum under its showroom floor. Designed by the same person who did the Petersen Automotive Museum, “the Wunderground” has an excellent selection of cars.

My personal favorite was this pairing of a red 1964 901 and red Porsche 356C that were in the factory at the same time, but there was also a new 935 in the room.
The museum at Porsche Santa Clarita is unbelievable, and features some truly great machinery. Behind the scenes, there’s even more rare metal, but that’s for another time!
The story with the 935 is scarce; I think it’s just someones track rat 935 taking a break in the museum. Mainly I enjoyed the juxtaposition of the 356C, 901, and 935 in the same image. A straight lineage from the very first, to the wildest Porsche to date. Old steel body goodness, to full carbon racing technology. For now, I just enjoyed this scene.
As big as we could get it:
