I could stare at this 2020 BMW M2 CS all day. Mostly due to its Misano Blue paint. Well, and the fact that it’s one of the generally-best-looking, and most-thrilling BMWs ever made.

There are those who might claim Laguna Seca Blue is BMW’s best, and I know my colleague Chris Rosales is a big fan of Mystic Blue. But I am partial to this new one.
The color is just gorgeous in any light, and even looks good after a few days of grit and grime (as pictured, really!). I can’t think of a better wheel design and color to match it, either. The champagne, or rather, German Pilsner Gold (as I affectionately refer to it as) wheels are such a nice contrast. Then, topped off with carbon fiber bits throughout (including the roof), it’s truly a superb package.
I hope BMW does this exact kind of look with the new 2er, preferably in M2 CS form, for the next generation which debuts in 2022.
