By non-traditional, I mean ultra-expensive HREs or pristine OEM fare.

All of us at Car Autance agree: TE-swap the world. Rays Volk TE37s look good on basically everything, and this 993 911 is no exception.

Rays wheels are ultra-high-quality, strong wheels, commonly found on track cars and other performance-oriented cars. They’re very light and very tough; lower-than-most rotational weight that doesn’t impede performance, yet are durable enough to withstand jumping curbs and all the other kinds of abuse wheels experience on track. Their metallurgy is put to the test as well thanks to the increased heat. They can get pretty expensive, but it’s money well-spent for sure.

They don’t have to be mounted up to track rigs, though; they look great everywhere. Especially mounted up to this clean 993 at Radwood NorCal a few weeks back. My gosh, the ride height, tire, and alignment combo (or, “stance”) is so good, too.
