Ford has released pics of the global Raptorized Ranger, and this one’s coming to the US, y’all. Are you excited? I know I am. Here’s a cool shot of the new Ranger Raptor doing airborne stunts like we’ve seen from the Ford F-150 Raptor and Ford Bronco Raptor.

The truck was confirmed to be U.S.-bound by a tweet from Ford’s CEO Jim Farley, and it’s a major deal. The U.S. has the Ford Ranger Tremor, but it didn’t get the previous-generation Ranger Raptor, which was probably for the best. The old Ranger Raptor, which was sold in the U.K. and other global markets, was diesel only, not very fast, and overall not as impressive as this new Ranger Raptor promises to be.

The new interior is will be a huge step forward, too. It’s been redesigned to center around a massive vertical touchscreen like we’ve seen in the F-150, Ford Explorer, and Ford Mustang Mach-E, while also increasing interior storage. Let’s hope it drives as well as it can fly.

  • Peter Nelson took his tuned Mazda 2 to the dyno. These are the results.
  • Chris Rosales spent $8,000 fixing his crashed VW Golf GTI, and it was worth every penny.
  • Take a few minutes to reminisce about Joe Isuzu, a truly bizarre character invented to sell cars with obvious lies.
  • Tested and reviewed: Oculus VR sim racing is truly immersive, but it has its downsides.
  • The new mail truck’s 8.6 MPG fuel economy figure is being taken out of context, Kevin Williams writes. And when the LLV contract is over, the old mail trucks should be converted and recycled.
  • This is a big deal: Proposed REPAIR act protects small auto shops and consumers from OEM monopolies.
