This might be one of the Lamborghini Countach’s most stunning angles.

Well, really every angle is extraordinary, as it’s such an iconic car, but I really dig this view due to its gorgeous taillights, badging, vents, big spoiler, and flipped-up driver’s door. I snapped this at Radwood NorCal this past summer and am stoked I was able to get a shot of it with the door up like this. Even though I wasn’t facing the driver’s side, just seeing the door high in the air is always a wild sight to behold.
Next time I see one of these rolling around at a show, I’d love to get a shot of the driver hanging out of the cockpit while carefully maneuvering it backward. If you aren’t familiar with the Countach, that’s virtually the only method of backing the car up. We suppose the viewpoint from inside looking back isn’t so great.
